I have done as much reading as i can under the time restraits i've had...
I just had a freind give me his saddle anemone, under a impulsive buy.
the anemone was much to large for his tank and roamed to the point it was putting his other anemone at risk, so i took it. I have a 37 gallon tank still not big enough for this monster 8" while bloomed anemone. (but i have a 55 gallon going through it's cycle as we speak)

I understand that these creatures need lots of light, I have a 100 watt metal hylide that puts off 5600k and the color temp is 3200, this is just below suitable for a reef tank but I do not have coral in my tank.

is this enough light to sustain the saddle?

and also, I have read it is good to feed them fish, or de-shelled shrimp, is there any other information I should know to provide a proper living enviroment for this critter?

any help is very appreciated
