I used a flashlight to look for shrimp in the tank after the lights went out, like you suggested. There were a lot of shrimp, but I saw this thing that looked like a centipede. What do you think it is?

Probably a bristle worm. How big was it?

Yes that is what it looked like. It was about an inch long. Are they bad to have in your tank?

Rarely are they a problem. You probably have hundreds or thousands hiding in the sand and rock.

Most are scavengers.
