Anybody get these bulbs yet? I see they have been on premium aquatics for a little while. I am very curious as to the look.

That's a pre-order, they are expecting them in the 3rd or 4th week of May (which would be next week or the following week).

They should be out now. I've ordered some but haven't received them yet. Anyone have them yet? If so, how do they look?

I was told they just shipped to the retailers (48") yesterday. The 2 and 3 footers are coming in a day or two.

What bulb combo did you go with?

I picked up 2 48" Super Blue Actinic Lamp to replace the VHO's currently on my tank.

Does anyone have a full tank shot of the UVL bulbs, INCLUDING the superactinics?

Thanks,

Kirk

Pictures are of little or no value to those of you trying to judge the color of these (or any) bulbs. There are just too many variables. A real life look is the only thing that will give you any sense of the true color or how objects look unde them. Remember the colors you see on your monitor are dependent on the camera settings, room light, film or software, the operating system settings, browser settings, make and model of monitor, the monitors color settings, and 100 other things.

Looking at the same photo on 100 different computers will give you 100 different impressions of color. Even high end imaging houses with fully calibrated equipment have problems. Remember you and the camera see differently.
