Painting the tank (OOPS!)

OK...last night, I got the new 58 hauled out to the garage. I taped it carefully and wrapped the whole thing (minus the back) in brown paper so I could paint the back.

I pulled out the black spraypaint and did the first coat. Great no problems. Second coat...what are those things?

I forgot to clean the glass and it's got some fingerprints on it. The paint isn't adhering well in those spots.

Do I need to scrape it all off and start over or should I just keep painting those spots hoping it will cover?

I would scrape the entire thing (it will peel off quite easily), then clean it well and begin to paint once again.

Scrape it, clean it and use and oil base paint.
