I was driving home today from work and a couple of blocks from my house I spotted that blue spot light a reef tank coming from a house. Looks like we have a new reef addict in my neighborhood. I'll have to see if there are interested in CIMA.

Sounds like my house, all you can see at night is a blue light

I just wish I used my upstairs living room, I would keep my tank up there. But unfortunatly I keep my tank down in my family room where I spent 99% of my time.

It could be me!!! :D

I live by Southern View.

I would love to be a member of CIMA, unfortunately dispatching has hours that leave me with little time for enjoyment ;)

If it is not me, looks like we have another reefer in Springfield!!

Since we moved to our new neighborhood, I've had several people ask me what that blue light is coming from our windows, doors, and skylights!

Don't ya just love the glow? My lights are nothing right now but you can even see mine when I'm walking the dogs at night. If someone happens to want to come over, I just tell them to look for the house with the glowing windows...LOL

Wait until I get my metal halides - they are on the way as we speak. My neighbors are probably going to think I am growing an illegal substance. ;) - Just corals!

It really is funny how strange the lights look from outside the house. We have two fixtures mounted right now but they only have the T5's in them, and not the halide bulbs yet. From outside, it looks like a UFO has landed in the living room because of the blue glow. We will be mounting two additional 400 watt fixtures soon....I will be interested to see what the glow looks like then.
