By the way I can help you out with a lot of things for your 120 upgrade. I read your upgrade thread and there are some things you should reconsider however, it's not the time to discuss now. We can discuss when you and your Dad come over.

what do you think I need to reconsider? the tank is moving into the house tomorow and we've already buought all the equipment. If im missing something expensive Im going to need to pay for it myself. my dad gave me a budget and Im over budget :(

sent you a pm about flow concerns. Addionally I would consider a pressure rated pump for your skimmer, however, I think you will be fine for the time being. You should really consider a closed loop.

I noticed your post, and I don't think you have enough flow either. The return from the sump should not a primary source of flow for an SPS tank.
