I'm gonna frag my German Blue digi to help with some of my recent expenses. Don't have many other sps to offer (freakin AEFW's...), but this one keeps getting fragged by Shakes, so I figure there is an opportunity. Below is a pic under 175W 10K and VHO's. I can;t get a good pic of these under the 250DE 10K AB's (the camera gets tricked...). The polyps are a nice blue/purple. I've seen them selling for $35 (when they have them-check out exoticreefs.us), so mine are $20 for ~1". They don't require anything too special (if you can grow caps, you can grow these), but do need somewhat higher light to keep the color (i.e., MH).
This was in the 55 before the upgrade (hence the bubble algae issues)

Let me know if anyone wants a frag. I can bring some to the meeting next week.

I'm on call next week end (so no meeting for me :( ), but I'm interested. Might even be interested in a larger piece if that can be done. Let me know.

I'm also going to have a few danae frags that are very similar (if not the same as) to the blueberry danae.
These will be $35 for ~1".

This one isn't as purple in body as the other (a yellowish-pinkish body with a little bluish purple mixed in, but same electric baby blue polyps). $25 for ~1"

And I was just inches away from these beauties last week. I'm going tocheck with the missus as to the chance of getting one of these. Off the topic; did that guy pick up the 180 stand?

Wow those are both pretty. Gary would you recommend the blue digi as a first SPS? Or should I try something else?

If you've got some good lighting (to hold color, as this behaves like most digi's-can be a weed once established), I'd say it would be a good first sps. It'll do fine in lesser lighting, but I've found you need a little bit of intensity to get it to hold the blue polyps.
