I have a good size colony of this coral and I know it does pack a punch to other corals. I am thinking after getting my new aiptasias that I could put a frag on or near the aiptasia possibly killing it????:eek1: Is this wishful thinking?:D or do I not have a prayer??
It amazing how bad these crap anenomes can make your tank look. My seahorse tank was gorgeous, now all I see are those damn aiptasias. my peppermints are already attacking them in the horse tank though... :)
also the coral is not in the horse tank

I think the aptasia will win. I know the hydnopora has a potent sting, but the aptasia is stronger and it can also move if you put the hydnopora close to it. Good luck..

I agree about the aiptasia winning - If you don't have many of them - I have found the way to stop them - get some of the epoxy and cover the hole it is sticking out of. This will kill it while at the same time preventing the spreading - it worked for me.
