Hey Eric,

what digital camera would you recommend for me that I can use all around plus get some good closeups of my tank...I have a fuji finepix 2000 i think...I was thinking around $400 to spend on something that would more than do the job...my current camera is somewhat limited on the extreme closeup shots.

thanks

Not an easy question to answer at all.....

I am a Canon guy myself so I will be able to guide you in this way only.

Goto www.bhphotovideo.com

Under the used section there is a G2... Excellent camera and for less than the price you are looking for. I have one of these and it can produce excellent quality photos and has many avail advanced user options. This was my first digital camera and it is quite the camera I must say.

You can get the lens adapter and a Canon 250 close up lens and get some great Macro shots.

Total cost would be : $375.00 shipped for all of it or 425.00 for the G3

Nice lens got to play with one a while back. I have the 75-300 IS and sold it and bought the 70-200 f4 L ... The old IS technology is not the same.

Honestly, I wish I knew more about my camera. I usually just use the quick select settings I'm sure it can do terrific things. :P
