Gorgonia and Angle fish

I have a sps reef tank with an Angle fish. I want to add a Purple Gorgonia to my tank.
Do the Angle fish can eat the Gorgonia?

I have a Navarachus angel.

Personally, I wouldn't take the risk of adding a gorgonian to the tank, but it might work. That angel is definitely a coral nipper.
