Hi all,

My local LFS owner said he just went to a trade show and said Oceanic will be coming out with nano cubes by June. Any word on this yet? I looking to downgrade my 100g and looking to at least get a nano instead of completely leaving the hobby.

hmmm thats cool, i would concider buying one from them. I'm sure it would be better quality than the other ones.

ya// there was an info sheet on the back of TFH magazine.. and there have been some threads on diff. reef sites... it comes in 3 sizes...
an 8g. w/ 2x18w PC...
a 14g. with 2x24w PC and a
29g. with 2x36w PC ... hth a little

Ya thats what they are using for lighting.. which some people are bummed about.. but really... i dont have a problem with Coralife and i really like it.. i own quite a few coralife lights and dont have any problems...

alsoim glad the did something different then the 12g. and 24g. ...
this cube is called the Biocube im pretty sure

Hey. I am looking at my TFH magazine right now. I saw these cubes last week when I was skimming through it.

They look pretty similar to the JBJ and Aquapod cubes. Black trim and black hoods. I like how they did away with the 12's and 24's and got some different sizes available.

Fishfreak is right about tank sizes and lights. Seems like they are upgrading them a bit. They come with LED moon lights also.

Check out oceanicsystems.com for more info. They don't have anything up right now or a release date.... but I am sure it will be on their site soon.

Yes, I went to another LFS today and they had the spec sheet also. They already had them on order and will be receiving all three sizes in several weeks. They will be giving me a call when it comes in so I'll update. Thanks all

No prices released but they did say it will be higher than jbj, which I figured already since its an oceanic
