Looks nice, awesome deal for only $9! I think they are called Yellow Coris around here unless there are 2 that look like that.

Bannana and yellow coris are the same , I'm pretty sure.

Yeah I've noticed he loves hunting for critters.
I have a ton so he'll be happy.

i believe banana wrasse's need to burrow

He does burrow at night which is unfortunate for him because thats when all the pods are out and about.

it'll also max out at about 5". as it gets older, the black spots will shift around a bit. mine has a spot on his tail and dorsal now insteadof 2 on his dorsal. I'm not sure but i think it signifies male vs female in some way.

Had one in my 75... cool wrasse but he jumped into my overflow twice  ... no big deal. Great fish... added a lot of color to the tank. Now my best friend has him and hes still doing great!! Enjoy :bum:

The proper name is Halichoeres chrysus, just so everyone is talking about the same fish.

Yea its is claaed a yellow coris wrasse, although it is not a true coris wrasse...I have one great little charecter, but remember they do need sand to burrow in as they bury themselves at lights out, very interesting to watch.
