Hey I'm looking to start up a smaller tank (20-30 gal) and was wondering what lighting I should use. I am interested in growing high lighted corals...easy to care for dim lighted ones. I want something that has MHs. Any ideas???

Well it depends on your budget. Personally I'd go with something like the Coralife Aqualight Pro fixture with a 150w MH and 2x65w actinic's or something along those lines. A bit pricey but worth it IMO.

I've had my eye on a sunpod but it looks like they dont have antics. Do they?

sunpods dont have actinics. With a 14k bulb you really dont need them IMO.

I have a sunpod 150 on my 30 cube and am quite happy with it. I have only had it for a month or two though.

i second, or is that third the sunpod. I tlooks like a nice, fairly inexpensive system.

I'm looking to have mostly hard corals in the tank, acropora mostly...I'm thinking going with the highest wattage I can get my hands on, what do you think?
