do i have to accimiliate a coral to my tank lighting if the lighting from the lfs is stonger than my tank?

I never do as mine are t5s and my LFS are MH

Put it on the bottom of the tank, in a low light area, then every week or so move it into slightly stronger light until you get it where you want to keep it.

OH, the lighting at the LFS is stronger????

In that case, put the coral where ever you want.

Or do the opposite... start off higher and then slowly move it lower...
