This tank is about 4 months old now, and the LR came with some of this stuff on it. It is growing pretty fast, but very easy to prune. It is very tough, almost like those old plastic plants we all had in the freshwater days. The yellow tank (only fish in tank) will not touch it. I'm just curious what it is, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

I'm no expert, but it looks like a type of kelp. Pretty cool when controlled.

I had the same stuff come in on my Fiji live rock. It grew pretty fast when my tank was young, but has now been mostly surpassed by Caulerpa and Halimeda in my tank. Just keep pulling it out regularly. It's growth should slow as your tank matures in the next few months.
