The strangest thing is happening in my 2.5 gallon.
I would expect the salt levels to increase, but for some strange reason, they are low?
I have a cabon filter with one of those white filters on my nanofilter, I have a small, reliable heater, I have added ro/di saltwater (which tests at the proper levels) only.
I added a heaping tablespoon of mediteranian sea salt to my 2.5 this am and there was barely any change.
Since I wanted to move to the 5.5 gallon I decided to do it then so I acclimated my LR and corals and switched to the 5.5 gallon.
Should I add the substrate too? If I do will it sift to the bottom under the sand?
At any rate, what would cause this peculiar low salt reading anyone know?
