Ok, after all the great reviews I finally secured myself an Ebo Jager heater. Now the big problem, how to get it to fit in the back chamber of my nano cube 6. My visi-therms fit fine back there, but the Ebo Jager is NOT submerrisble, and with very little headroom and the cord sticking straight up I don't see how it will fit.

For a six gallon you don't have a lot of hang on room. I'd buy a submersible, you can always use the extra heater as a backup in case you need to isolate animals. It's always good to have an extra heater and pump! I generally heat up my water for water changes, too.

Is it an old one or something I thought all the new ones were submersible.

no the jager's arent submersible.. best submersible heater for your money is the visatherm stealth heaters...

The line on the outside of the heater is a immursion (dont go below) line, not a submersion (dont go above line) you can submerge it.
