This was one of those transactions that could have gone horribly badly, but turned out fine because Shaw was an upfront and honest seller. I would buy from him again.
I bought a used wave timer from Shaw and paid upfront with Paypal. It arrived DOA. Shaw was very responsive to my emails and PMs. He says that he checked it out right before he shipped it and that it was working. Given his honesty and promptness through all of this, I believe him. We worked together in order to try to figure out how to fix it, but without success. The timer was dead. As soon as this was obviously unfixable, Shaw refunded my money without a problem. This whole process took less then a week.
Given this experience, I would buy from Shaw again with confidence.
