I have lived and died by my "Marine Plants of the Caribbean" for a while, but obviously there are Pacific macros not included and I can't even ID my main macro plus there are some Caulerpas not listed either. I need more books..

Does anyone know of some other good references???
thanx

thanx skeeter :) Man I wish I had a cable modem because that algaebase is a long and excruciating experience for me and the ISP from hell......:D Although the price is right.
I checked out That fish place and i could only find one book called something like Marine algae Control with (Marc Weiss) at the end of the title, was this by any chance it?

I still like flipping through a book full of awesome pictures (and the text within a page of the related picture :D) But maybe that will all change when I get the cable modem.

Other than that, bumpde-bump-bump-bump.

Frick-n-Frags, I have a full T-1 line running. If you need anything downloaded, just let me know. I can launch it off and burn it to CD for you if you like. Really no big deal. Just let me know.

The algae book I don't think is that one. I will give my LFS a call today and get the title and author for you.

I spent all morning cleaning up a big flood from my 125. As it turns out a large hermit got stuck in the return line from my refugium and caused it to overflow. The bad part was, that I didn't know he was stuck in there, so I just reflooded it all over again. I thought the pump kicked off due to over heating or something, but that wasn't it. So after 2 hours and 20 gallons later everything is back to normal and humming away.

Just let me know if there's some data you want and the URL address, I'll download it for you and send it off in the mail.

Frick,
Another webpage for ya Go here (http://www.botany.hawaii.edu/reefalgae/default.htm)

Also, you might want to take a look at Volume one of Modern Reef Aquarium. It's not the best, but it might help you a little:)

Sorry about the flood, but it's good you found the problem (look at the bright side: You know that water change you have been putting off? don't worry about it...:D)

Thanx for more leads....

Sure, we'll send it around again.
