I have had my tank up for several years. Every so often I have this problem. The Caulerpa starts growing and I let it grow for awhile to use nutrients etc. I always harvest it before it goes sexual. "I had that happen once". When I pull it off the rocks, I usually "right away" have an outbreak of Hair Algae and or, Bubble Algae. Should I pull it up while it is really small, or will it make a difference? My Phosphates show Zero and so do my Nitrates. I have checked here at home and had the LFS check also. I know there is something that is making it grow but can't figure out what. I don't have a refugium because I am still trying to figure out what I need and how to set it up. I WILL be trying that as soon as I get these things figured out.
Any Idea's?

if you have room pick up some fish that eat it, my yellow tang, koran angel, and racoon butterfly love it. But if you have a reef make shur they are reef safe
