Brand new Neptune Systems AquaController Jr. with Temp Probe

http://i.xkinetic.net/3-06/6th/DSC_0005.jpg

Comes with everything you see in the picture, no DC8.

I'm selling this because I'm going to use an Aquacontroller III instead. This unit has never been used, turned on, or plugged in. It comes with the box, instructions, ac adapter, temp probe, and the base unit. Not backlit.

$200 or $190 + cool zoanthid frag.

SF Bay Area, pickup only!

Basically it's a controller for your tank. For example, you can control your calcium reactor, lights, fans, moonlights, and heaters with it. The only caveat is that you will need to purchase a Direct Connect 8 (specialize power strip) for it. A DC8 is pretty expensive (about $175). Without a DC8 - this unit can only be used to monitor and log temperature and PH. You really need the DC8 (or similar) to be able to use this to control lighting, calcium reactor, moonlight, etc.

According to Koden's, this is also the older version which does not have a backlit light. The new version has a backlit LCD.

Last - there is currently a group buy on BAR forum for the AquaController Jr WITH the DC8. If they can get 18 people, the price will be $220. Add in $40 for the pH probe. So you're at 260. If they can only get 6 people to go in, the price is $265 + $40 = $305. http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=789718

Koden is selling his at $170. Add in a DC8 ($175) - then you will be at $345.
