Ok I was planing on getting a g3 but it wont fit in my sump so here is my dilemma should I go with a g1x or a euro reef cs80. The question is I know you get a bigger bang for the buck with the asm, Is the quality in the upgrade for the euro reef that much better. Does asm really put as much time as euro reef in enginering the skimmer and pump. Or are you just getting a euro reef nockoff

Is it the height or the footprint that is the limiting factor. Euroreef is much better quality materials... but they both do the same damn thing. Check out H20 Tropicals for a blem ER. You can get and ER for the same price (or less) as an ASM. I just got an RS5-3 blem. It's perfect except that it came with a blue ES lid.

I bought a CS6-2 blem from H20 Tropicals. Made the decision easy.
