Julian Sprung @ Exotic Fish and Corals!

I stopped into Exotic fish today and talked to Bob. For the grand opening of his new location he is having Julian Spring speak. This will be on March 12th.

The store opens at 12, the lecture will be at 3. He will have lots of stuff on sale - clams, cheap frags starting at $5, $30 buckets of salt, Sprungs new book with a chance to get it signed, etc.

His new store is looking really nice... it is huge!

There is a signup sheet for the lecture at the store now (the current store, not the new one). I am not sure if there is a limit on signups, but the fact that there is a sheet suggests that there is.

The new store is at 374 New Haven Ave in Milford (a couple blocks from his current store). It's going to be a warehouse that is open to the public some on the weekends, the current store will remain open.

Sounds great. His name is Julian Sprung by the way, I'm interested to see if he will be peddling his Two Little Fishies' stuff to the crowd. You can gaurantee they will be giving away some of the newer stuff.

I think Bob said the first 30 to sign up will be able to sit in the back room where the speaker will be, and the rest would have to stand elsewhere.

Just got off the phone with Bob - he said they still have 13 spots available. That few of us are going? Doors open at noon and Dr Sprung will be there at 3 pm. He also said he will be running some awesome deals on TLF products! Hopefully I'll see some of you guys there!

I got a sneak peak at the new store tonight... TONS of nice corals will be on sale. He had some crazy purple acros, yellow with blue tip table acros, yellow with blue tip staghorn/table (table growth form but with long branches), probably 100 different salomon island zoos (they just came in and weren't open yet, so I couldn't buy all the good ones ;)), and lots of other new livestock.

Even if you don't get a seat, you will still be able to see the lecture, you just will have to stand. Don't let the signup thing scare you away, it would be worth coming down for the livestock even if there was no lecture.
