I am absolutely thrilled with my base rock from http://www.Reeferrocks.com
I got 20 lbs for my new 30 cube. I asked for one larger piece to stack the others on instead of a bunch of smaller ones and that's exactly what I got. The shape of the rock is nice with lots of holes for small fish and critters to hide in. It shipped in the time they said it would and they sent two keychains with their info on it. As a business owner I can appreciate this marketing technique.
When I set up my 400 gal I will be filling it with tons of this rock, probably 85%. The rest will be live rock.
A+ for the quality of rock, price and service.

I got my 60 lbs reeferrocks on Monday. It looks very good. Better than my 50 lbs hirock. But price is higher. The shipping is faster too. They also gave me UPS track number.

Why would this be a good deal? It's about two bucks a pound plus shipping. At those prices, you can add a little more and get the real Live Rock by online.

Gussy,

I ordered live rock and paid 150.00 for 30 lbs includeing shipping.

I paid 82.00 for 40 lbs of base rock including shipping. These rocks are great base rocks and yeah for $68.00 more I could have gotten more live rock but I needed that money towards my skimmer!!!

I highly recommend reeferrocks..great stuff!!!

I also got some rock from them (35 pounds I think). It's very nice looking rock, with LOTS of holes in it. Very nice rock. I requested only larger pieces and that's exactly what I got. I actually ended up with too many large rocks when I got my live rock on top of it, so I had to crush two of the reefer rocks into rubble using a hammer. For the record, it crushes quite easily, if necessary :).

I wanted to start this same thread a couple of weeks ago when I received my order of Reeferocks, but I didn't have a high enough post count to start a thread in here. Anyway, yes! Reeferrocks is awesome! These rocks that I received are beautiful. Captain Jer actually sent me about 5 more pounds than what I ordered. I can't wait until this stuff starts to grow some coralline. To anyone out there, don't try to fill your whole tank with live rock. Buy half live and half base rock from Reeferrocks and save yourself a little bit of money. I wish I would have done that in the first place.

I have some Reeferrock in my now 2 month old 120 gal reef tank. Very happy to say that it is already starting to get coralline coverage and some various creatures have taken up residence in it. Looks great too, as is witnessed by the photos in the previous post a little above this one. The captain Jer experience was very favorable as well. Good place to order through.
