Hey guys I just received a job offer in the boston area. Im thinking of moving into brighten. Are there any good LFS around there or anyone who would be willing to sell corals? Also Im looking to meet some people. Thanks for everything a head of time.

Several good stores within a 90 minute drive. Several more if you go out to a 2 hour drive.

There are TONS of people in the area willing to trade or lend a hand.
We all mostly hang out on the BRS boards: www.bostonreefers.org/forums
Stop by and say hello. You'll get a warm welcome and can find kazillions of people in the area.

Well, okay, not really kazillions. That's not even a real number. I'm sorry for suggesting such lunacy. But you will find many people.

Yep check out the other forum. Tons of people in the Boston area. One of the largest concentration of reefers in the country I think.

Watch out for Moe though, He'll twist your arm till you drink to much and fall down. :)

I tried, he turned me down. :)

Jeepman there are a ton of rentals in Brighton. Affording them is another thing. There are a lot of collage students living there so i guess there are some reasonable places.

Go on Craigslist.org there should be a bunch of rentals advertised there.

Its Bostonian by the way. ;)

Jeepman, check out Allston. Like Tstone said, it's a big student community. Some places there can be dumps, some are fine, and then some are luxury. You'll want to check them out before you sign a lease. Allston may be affordable.

When do you arrive in Boston?

What size tank are you going to do? Let everyone know when you are ready I am sure you can get cups of live sand and macros etc from folks.
People here have plenty of frags here for trades also.

Let me know when you get here. I'll give you a hand. If you post over at the other forum you will get a TON of response.

I think there are a bunch of reefers around your same age also so it won't be hard to make friends.

I would rather live in my snowsuit in the snow then for me to live in my bathsuit and 70 degree weather. I live for skiing :D

Man I love the warm/hot weather but after living here in new England I had to accept the cold and snow.

I decided I would embrace it and so i learned to snowboard. I love it but I still hate the cold and snow.

I think i am going to move to FLA
