I got the BTA a month ago. Looked great for the last week, noticed this growing on it's foot. What is it? Is it dying?

Could you get a closeup of a portion of the growth? Is the anemone showing any signs of trouble? Have you been feeding it?

That anemone is desintigrating you should remove him to a QT, or to the trash ASAP. If he continues to melt in your tank, you will most likely lose everything, and possibly have to start from scratch. It can happen pretty fast from the point he is now, so either get him out or don't take your eyes off of him. Try lifting him out of the water and smelling him, if it has a strong rotting smell, then take him out immediatly.
