I was wondering how one would go about connecting fiji rock togeather to form parts that might branch off etc.

Does anyone have some pictures of what they did or some suggested techniques.

I really don't want to produce just one solid sloping wall in the tank.

The underwater epoxy they sell should work well. It is a 2 part mix, that dries in about an hour. Nice to work with and not too runny. JD

Underwater 2-part epoxy works well. Any well-stocked LFS should carry it. Or, better still, you can find it at Home Depot under the Aquamend label even cheaper.

For larger setups you can drill the rock and insert acrylic rods or pieces of plastic coat hangers to support it.

Drilling holes and zip-tieing it together can work as well.

Lastly I've even cemeted pieces together and then cured the finshed product in a freshwater bath for a few weeks before placing in the tank.
