Any one know where to find dry white limestone rock in the Orlando area? Ocean Blue used to sell it but can't get it anymore. It's good for base rock or use in a sump, which is what I need it for. And a heck of alot cheaper than paying for LR!

Hello, Welcome to ORCA and Reefcentral!:) There was some sort of dry base rock for sale last time I was in the Petland at Lk Margaret. I have no idea what type it was..as I would never use such a thing. I just happened to notice it was there....it might be worth giving them a call to see. 407-381-5777

you can get dry base rock at almost any landscape/nursery for .10-.20 cents a pound. but like the base rock you buy at the LFS (same stuff), it will be loaded with phosphates and will need a freshwater cure for a month or two.
