Other food for lionfish

What are some frozen foods i can feed my lionfish that are healthy and have good nutrients? i've been feeding silverslides now. Wanted to change his diet so he wont eat them his whole life.

The lionfish we had would eat everything. Depending on the size of the fish, krill or cocktail shrimp would work. Our old volitans lion would eat a full sized 3" cocktail shrimp and still come back for more.

Other choices are pieces of mussels, clams, and squid. Just get it at the store and cut it into appropriate sized pieces for the fish.

You can improve whatever it is you're feeding him by soaking it in Selcon or Kent Zoe.

Just about anything really, my dwarf and volitans are currently eating:
silversides in Zoe
formula one
formula two
cubed spirulina formula
cubed trigger formula
fresh seafood (esp. shellfish)

Hi:
I find it easist to go to a local grocery store. amd head to the seafood dept. Purchase gulf shrimp w/ shells on, chunks of crab meat, scallops, clams, octipus or squid, and a cheap white meat SW fish -nothin is cooked nor nothing is added) Meaning don't buy shrimp in coctail sause or seasoned w/ cayanne pepper.
I take home whatever i bought, quickly, rinse off any schwack, and chop up the meats into bite sizes pieces (i do not remove any of the shrimp shells), but i do shell the clams. I then place all of this mess into a zip loc bag and freeze it. My feeding schedule is 3 days a week. I then break off a few chunks of this mix, thaw it in alittle warm water (usually) w/ a drop or 2 of selcon - Zoecon works equally as well. I feed my lion w/ this mix, this way i rotate thru all the foods, they get a balanced meal, and they don't get food burn out. I can shop once every month for them and spend ~ $20-30.

Silversides are good, just not all the time and if possible skip the freeze dried krill.

b bum said you can feed them formula foods!? is that true or possible to feed to a lionfish? i dont see how they would even resemble meat or anything a lionfish would eat but mabe if the lion just smells meat in it.
