Where does everyone get bulkheads? Are they available at lowe's or home depot? Or should I order online or go to a plumbing store?

I went to several plumbing supply stores in my area as well as a pool and spa supply store...NO ONE had any idea what I was talking about.:mad2:
The best place to go is your LFS; all of mine wound up having them. Wish I had just asked them to begin with!:)
There is also a good selection at Drs. Foster & Smith (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/NavResults.cfm?N=2004+113783).

If you are in Durham check out Aquatic Concepts off 15-501. I bought mine from them. HD and Lowes do not carry bulkheads.

Hayward Sch-80, VERY high quality bulkheads. Not the cheapest, but easy to install, no leaks, no risk of breaking.
