Well I thought I'd start my own Aquapod thread so I have a place to post some pics as my pod comes together.

The setup so far.....

12 gallon Aquapod
12 gallon Aquapod stand
Visi-Therm Stealth 50W heater in chamber 3
Palm Light fuge mod which will contain Cheato

Livestock

Two True Perc Clowns from my M-Tank
Many hermits and a few snails

Coral

Zoos
Shrooms
LPS
Softies

I ordered Liveaquaria's 16LB live rock Nano Pack today and only plan on maybe 1" of sand. I plan on transferring a few LBS of rock from my M-Tank as well.

Here are a few pics so far...

Fuge mod

I cut the backing off the tank around the second chamber. I then added two metal ninety degree brackets to clamp the palm light to. This way, I don't have the palm light dangling off the pod's hood or power cord.

I added the rock and sand yesterday.

I ordered a 16LB box of Nano Rock from Liveaquaria and was pleased with the sizes and shapes of the rock that was delivered. I ordered the rock via Fed-Ex next day service to minimize die off but after looking at the rock that was "pre-cured" by the Liveaquaria wholesaler there isn't a whole lot of life on the rock after their curing process. I'm still going to let the rock cure and monitor H20 conditions for a couple of weeks before adding any livestock.

Out of the 16LBS of rock I ordered, about 12 LBS are in the pod. The rest I donated to a buddy of mine with a larger tank. If I added any more, the tank would've been to cramped. I have many small caves and am really happy with the aquascaping.

I ordered my Fission Nano-Skimmer from Marine Depot this morning. Hopefully I'll have it next week sometime.

I'll definitely order from Liveaquaria again!:)

Substrate is 13 LBS Fiji-Pink Arag-Alive.

Salt is Oceanic (I've always had good luck with it)

I have some Cheato waiting in my M-Tank. Once the Pod cycles, I'll toss the Cheato into the small Fuge in the Pod.

Well, the tank is still cycling. It seems like the ammonia has peaked. Nitrites and Nitrates are still high. Once that's complete, I'll be off and running.
