Could anyone post a pic taken with their sunpod? I have the 20" 14k fixture and find the light is pretty blue, much bluer than any 14k 250w MH bulb I've used in the past.

Also disappointed in the intensity, I've got a 30g tank about 19" deep and worry about keeping clams on the sandbed with this lighting.

I know they claim this fixture puts out more light than some 250's, but man it doesn't seem very intense to me :(

Suprising. I've always ran XM 20k bulbs and I find the 14k a very pleasing color.. I was actually worried it might be too blue.

As for intensity, seems halfway decent for a 150 in my book, and my last tank had over 1400 watts of lighting. Sounds like you really need to go with a high par 10k to be happy.

You'd think on such a small tank even a low PAR 14k should be enough, but I've read others having problems keeping SPS under this fixture.
I guess if it'll drive it I can try a 10k. I've used and liked the 10k USHIO 250 before, maybe that's the ticket for this tank too.
