temp issues?

i have a 10g with a 96w pc. the temp is about 77 at night and anywhere from 79-81 during the day when the light is on. i tried turning the heater up to 80 to try to fix the temp swing, but all this did is make it 80 at night and like 83 during the day. anyway should i be concerned?

have you tried a fan on when the lights are on, thats what I did with my 29g with 250watt halide, worked like a charm.

i was trying to avoid fans because of evap reasons, plus they just look ugly.
