the search link isnt working so i am forced to ask here, please forward the appropriate link if this topic has previously been discussed...

Has anyone used the loc line fittings? are they easy to use

i want to set up my EHEIM 1262 (900GDH) to my SCWD using the loc line fittings.

A. is the tubing water tight, do i need to do anything special to it to ensure air tightness? ie. teflon tape
B.B. Do i need to buy the wrenches. i say wrenches, because i want to run a 3/4 line from each output on the SCWD that T's off into two 1/2" arms on each side of my 40 gallon breeder. so i would have a total of 4 points of waterflow entering the tank to prevent deadspots.
C. is the 1/2 line capable of handling the output from the EHEIM 900dgh, without springing leaks from over pressure.

Thank you for the replies...

A, Nothing special required. They are air tight under normal pump pressure.

B, No wrenchs required but it does make it easier. I would go with 3/4 inch regardless so you don't add any restriction.

C, see B. :)

I just picked up some myself. Very slick design. Very easy to use. It is rather expensive. Much more than PVC. Definitely good stuff.
