i just putin two shrimp last wendsday. i have not seen them since i pout them in. should i start to looking under rock to see where they are? i bought them to eat antipasta.

If they are peppermint you will not see them all that often they are out at night

I agree with ALK. Also, they tend to force a molt when under extreme stress like being captured and stuffed in a little plastic bag and let loose in a whole new world. After they molt they are very skiddish and will hide in the smallest hole until their new exoskeleton hardens.

Their eyes glow bright red if you shine a flashlight at them a couple hours after lights out. Especially if there's food in the tank ;)

Like all Cleaner Shrimp, they can be easily trained to be very friendly using food. If you start handfeeding them they'll always be out when you show up.

OH NO!!! Here comes the antipasta jokes again. LOL. Anyway I hand feed my tank and they come out when ever I drop scrimp pellets or flake in the tank. Usually three together and one who has his own place of residence. They are a lot of fun to watch. They have such personalities.
