Which ever you decide to go with try and keep it off the back glass.

Yea that is the plan. I have it stacked solid in every choice and no parts will be touching the sides.

I'll go for #2. It has some cave for whichever fish you wish to add and also very easy to decorate with corals. And also good for your water circulation due to IN/OUT caves.

#6, but lose the top rock on the right side. I don't like the look of that big rock on the top in the other pics.

I like #5 because of the hill-like formation with the cove.

Yes it is base. I have a piece of live to go with it.

At 12:00 midnight (central time) I will end the poll and go with the winner. Hope to have pics tonight.

Thanks
Rick

I voted on 6, on the condition that you'd move the piece on the right to the left, it'd be better that way IMHO

Well, looks like a tie between #2 and #5. Next vote for either will be the tie breaker.

The winner is

#2.

I will post pics latter today.

Thanks for the help.

Its going to be a mixed reef. I dont have much planned out at the moment. The cycle is amost done. Amm is 0, nitite is 0 and Nitrate is about 15mg/l. I am currently torn between the rock the way it is and trying to do a "reef wall" like I have seen in a few threads. I think they look awsome.

Sorry to hear about your tank. For what it's worth, I voted for Aquascape #3.

To be honest, I'm not too thrilled with the aquascaping in your new tank. I like the "archway" in the middle of the tank, but I think that the rocks are too big. I think that big rocks in a little tank look weird. Also, it doesn't look like you will have much room for corals.

By the way, kudos to you for setting up this poll. I think that it was a great idea and a lot of fun. Also, I learned a lot from reading everyone's justification for their favorite aquascape.

Thanks for the input and im glad to stir debate and new ideas. I too am concerned with the rock size. One thing I really like about nanos is when the smaller rocks make it look like a large tank. My be time to get out the hammer and chisel. :D

thats what i did, I'd definatly get the big ol one on the right. With that one down, its just up to some of the mid-level ones, you want one or two "large" but no XL. I wen't through this in my nano cube...

I would cange the new aquascaping too, you really shouldn't have it touching the glass. It's going to be a PITA to clean so you will have algae buildup on the glass, it will start looking nasty.

I really thought this poll was cool, i voted for #5 :D

Wow, nice comment. I guess one could also say that people who buy live rock are too lazy to wait six months for the "sh*t rock" as you call it, to become live rock. :D To each his own, but I think the tank looks good "Mr. Lazy". ;) Any updates?

Not much to update, I will try to get some new pics. What I decided to do was break the rock down a little and get it off the back wall. I have added a few more fish and corals I will try to get pics up in the coming days.
