I have a 15 gallon with a 24" 130 watt pc fixture. 30 #s of LR, one Seio 620 and running it skimmerless until i get my bak-pak. What fish or inverts would be cool in here?

Well it depends on your experience and budget but I suggest to start it with easy hardy polyps, gobys, shrimp to get things running.

Btw, how old is your tank? - optikz

I wouldn't add more than 2 fish. Liveaquaria has a list of nano friendly fish. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scateg.cfm?pCatId=2124

I was only planning on having two fish so that works out, and thanks for the link. Any other suggestions? I would do a shrimp goby thing but my sleep 5 feet from my tank and I'm worried the pistol would wake me up.

Get the helfrichi firefish :D lol just joking :) the pistol shrimp that lives with the shrimp goby doesnt produce that big of a sound. i dont think i've ever heard them snap actually.. (i have a pair, and they are really fun to watch look at).

Do you just have two shrimp, or do you have anything else? I would love to hear what everyone else has in their nanos!

Well, in my 30g. I have:
1x Bangaii Cardinal
1xOccelaris Clown
1xBicolor Blenny
and a pair of Blood shrimp which are really fun to watch, most peoples blood shrimp hide ALOT but mine dont.. i dont know why... if you were to get shrimp, go with Skunk Cleaner shrimp... they are the most likley to be out and about your tank...

and in my 2.5g i have:
1x Yellow Clown Goby
1x Blue Tang (ya ya i know.. but he is extremly small.. DO NOT TURN THIS THREAD INTO A TANG ARGUMENT! HE HAS PLANS FOR A BIGGER HOME IN OUR FRIENDS 210g. TANK!!!)
1x Pepermint shrimp (boring.. he hides.. his sole purpose was/is to eat Aptasia.. which he did a pretty good job at)

I have Yellow watchman goby / pistol shirmp / skunk cleaner shirmp and planning to add a pair of clown fish maybe in 2 weeks or so because my tank has been only running for two months now. I also have colony polyps and this coming weekend I will add some xenia, gps and some mushrooms to follow things up in my tank.

Would a yellow watchman team up with a pistol?

Yellow Watchman Goby have been known to form symbiotic relationships with pistol shrimp. I have mine paired w/ pistol.

"put a mantis in there! I'm looking for a good deal on a nano cube now. I'm defintely going to have a mantis!"

rsteagall,

You might want to look at some other options for housing a mantis. Nanocubes have a bad reputation for cracking. Just my .02.

Thanks,
