Ive seen this pure white worm in my tank twice now. The only way to explain is that I actually thought it was a tiny snake as it has a head with a tiny red tip on it and is smooth. The body is just like a snake as its larger more towards the head and gets smaller as it reaches the tail. Its atleast an 1" long and and big enough to make one think I've got some string in my tank floating around. What makes it stand out is how WHITE it is and the little red bump/tip on the head. Strange thing is when I saw it tongiht I saw it actually made little lumps in its body almost like a pearl necklace or something while floating around, My clown fish actaully tried to eat it but spit it out, it settled to the sand and then disapeared. Didnt see anything like it on Melves 198 reef things identified page. Any thoughts?

My rule for worms, crabs, etc is , if you are not sure what it is , get rid of it !

You might need to see a doctor about that.
