Miracle Mud and snails

What are your thoughts on sand stirring snails in a Miracle Mud sump? Should it be treated like a sand bed? I was thinking of adding a few cerith and nassarius.

I have been using Ecosystem filtration for about three years now, but I have never put any type of snails in the sump though.

After some period of time, you will develop enough different types of worms (bristle and various others) that will be adequate in keeping the mud bed in check.

However, I really don't think that there will be any negative effect in doing this. Like anything else in this hobby, moderation breeds success.
