I just spotted 4 underwater caterpillars on my live rock. Are they safe to keep? What does it eat? If they are not safe, how do I get rid of them? HELP ME!

Bristleworms.....normal scavengers...eating algae and stuff...I wouldn't worry about them! :D
Like Hunter said it looks like a bristleworm. They're scavengers and remove excess nutrients from the tank. The population will rise and fall depending on the amount of food available. They only become a nuisance if you overfeed your tank. There's no need to remove them.
