power head

Been reading on the forums about extra circulation with power heads. I would like some suggestions on brand and model of power head(s) suitable for a 15 gallon eclipse system. Tank is 2 weeks old, will be FOWLR. Thanks!

I would go with maxi-jets. The 600, 900, and 1200 models would all work.

Maxijets are reliable powerheads that run forever. On a 15 gallon the 1200 might be too much flow though. I'd go with the 600 or 900.

also, the power consumption on the 600 and 900 is very similar, whereas the 1200 is much greater than the 900. this may be a concern in a small tank. i'd go with the 900s.

I have a 900 and 1200 on my 20H. Maxijets really do last and last... these two have been moved from tank to tank.
