Sand for brand new nano reef...

I'm helping someone set up a 10g nano reef... i didnt get him sand yet though.. and to start it up he needs sand... so what sand would you reccomend... just plain sand or buying a bag of the "Live Sand" to help the cycling process??

Aragonite Substrate works well for me. Grain size/texture dependent on stocking plan for tank. Aragonite helps maintain water chemistry. Would not have to be 100% "live sand". You could add a portion of sand from a well established, healthy tank to inoculate fresh sand.
