How does everyone here keep their sump clean if they cant drain it and pull it out of the cabinet ? Vaccume ? Ive tried that and it works ok but doesn't really get everything out and I find it a bit of a pain to putt everything out of the sump to be able to get alot of the detritus out of the sump.
Would snails work better ? Would they get into th eskimmer pump and if so what would I do to prevent that?

Shop vac, then a good wipe down.

Filter bags work pretty well. But then again I take mine out every month or so and clean it. I love rubbermaid.

I have snails end up in the sump often. They'll clean up detritus, so they're still cleaning things up, and I'm happy.

I put snails in the sump--just make sure they are large enought no to get sucked into the pump.
