Tom,

I don't quite know what to say. I had a complete tank loss myself about 18 months ago so I know how devastated you feel.

Keep up with the water changes and carbon. Also set your skimmer to skim as if there is no tomorrow. I would not take anything out just yet. Give it a couple of days. It may not be a total loss. It may help to shorten your photo period for a few weeks, but I am not sure on that one.

When the dust settles LMK and I will be happy donate a few frags to your rebuilding.

Thanks for the encouragement Jimmy.

I thought about shortening the Photo-period. I wasn't sure whether I should keep the lights on as is, since the tissue is photo-synthetic. I'll probably cut 2 hours off the photo today though.

Thanks again.

Wow that sucks. I don't understand why rio still makes things. I hope your tank can get back on its feet( or fins)

Thanks guys. I'm praying that things will come through.
Maybe this is a perfect reason to get my dream tank.

Thanks again,
Tom

It's just too bad that we cant sue the morons that make those Rios, for damages and loss of fish and corals, when they're crap product desides to shoot oil all over our tanks.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. Dont throw in the towel though! Hopefully, at least some of corals make it out alive.

Tom,

I'm so sorry for your loss. We'll have to arrange a special Frag grab to help you get back on track, as soon as everything is back to normal. As you know, we don't need much of an excuse for a party!!!

The dream tank also makes perfect sense. no better time to upgrade!

Wow, sorry to hear about your losses.

I also use my extra Rio as the mixing pump for my water changes. I thought it would be safe using it there once a week, but this is making me rethink that usage as well.

Just saw this thread. Man, my heart sink.....

I saw this tank in person before and it is beautiful. Hope it can fully recover.

If you need me to hold up anything for you while trying to fix your system, my 180g have plenty of space for you.
