Well I broke down and made brackets for my MJ1200.....
trashed the suction cups....total cost 8 bucks

I may make the holes adjustable..but I havent moved my powerhead in awhile

Nice job. I wonder though if the little clip to use with the stock MJ hanger will also work for this and would be smaller and less obtrusive.

I looked at the strap that came with my PH but it dont fit that good over the lap on the tank...

No I don't mean the MJ hanger itself but using the little clip which the hanger slips through. That clip has the same groove to fit the MJ pump onto just like the suction cup bracket that you used.

Basically what I'm saying is make a new hanger but use the same clip to fit the MJ onto.

Hum....Im looking it.yes I could have did that......I remember now ask question first.....Well it was fun builting.....hopfully I will get alot of Coraline on the brackets....for some reason I can't dont get any Coraline on my glass......but get it everywhere else overflow lines etc.

Why do you want coralline on your glass? Coralline can be a real PITA ot scrape off the glass you know. Be careful what you wish for ;)
