Hi, Just found out about this place, was on the begginer only post,but now i found this. anyways I was wondering if i could put in 1 goby in a 2.5 gallon tank. I've heard 3yes and 3 no so hopefully you guys can finish the tie break :D

maybe a catalina goby! but you would have to keep a lower temp!!

No, clowns and damsels are to big for a 2.5g. You could do a shrimp/goby pair, a couple of neon gobys or a clown goby. That's it and you'll need to do weekly water changes if you add any fish.

I vote shrimp/goby pair. I just added a yasha haze goby/randall's shrimp pair to my 2.5. Very cool!!

i have a 2.5g and i think is it plenty big for a shrimp/goby pair or 1 Neon Goby, or 1 Clown Goby.... others may not agree..... currently i only have 2 Dwarf Blue Leg Hermits, and an Anemone Shrimp, hopefully ( im on vacation.. i get to see my tank tonight... hopefully everything is still alive and there was NO problems...)
