Can you all recommend your top 3 books on reef aquariums?

I realize the technology is changing rapidly, and the best source of info. is likely Reef Central and other such on-line resources. But it would be nice to have a comprehensive source to start doing my research.

Also, I'll bet this question has already been threaded, but the search engine hasn't worked for me in days. So, sorry for repeating.

The second book's author has a fair number of books that I have and enjoy.

Those books look great. Thanks. Do they discuss the setup of a reef aquarium too?

What about: The Reef Aquarium: Science, Art, and Technology, Vol. 3
by J. Charles Delbeek and Julian Sprung?

I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

Neither of the books I posted have a step-by-step guide to set up a tank. There are threads here that might help, though. Maybe, "Natural Reef Aquariums" by Tullock or "The New Marine Aquarium" by Paletta would be worth considering. I like the first book; haven't read the second, but the authors are both knowledgeable about tank setup, IMO.

I really found this book to have a lot of great information. I also ran into the author, Robert Fenner at a LFS in San Diego. Great guy!

It walks you through step by step setting up the tank and towards the end of the book it has a ton of great information on the different types of stocking options and their compability.
