hand lotion ???

I was wondering if there is any kind of lotion that I can use for my hands that I don't have to worry about washing off before I put my hands in the tank?? I have the salt water dry hand thing going on.:(

No. Apply lotion after being in your tank. Wash hands before going in.

Oh yeah... Also, don't go in until 45 minutes after eating!!!

I would advise wearing gloves. I bought disposables and heavyweight models from labsafety.com, and also the CoraLife gloves from DrsFosterSmith.com, and am pretty good about using them now. Bacterial infections from saltwater aren't common, but they do occur and can be nasty. Getting stung can be a problem, too.
