Is there a way to wire (4) two foot bulbs to a ballast that is good for (2) 48in bulbs? On the ballast it only shows how to connect two bulbs not 4 and since it is the same length of bulbs I was wondering if it could be done-TIA

I already have an advance ballast that is capable of running 2-48in bulbs and I was wondering if I could jimmy rig it up somehow to make it work for 4-24in bulbs. If I have to buy another ballast I will just buy a cheap POS MH setup for the sump/fuge-should work out the same $$. I already have the end caps and bulbs-just need to figure out how to jimmy it-if at all possible

2-48'' bulbs = 220 watts 4 -24'' bulbs = 300 watts
if ur ballast can handel 300 watts.........
piggyback the endcaps

it can handle 232 watts can I just underdrive them? I am not an eletric guy so how do I piggyback them? Just wire each + & - for the four matching endcaps togather? There are a total of 8-thanks much

If it only handles 232 watts... u can not run 4- 24''
that would be to many watts for that ballast

advance-2s102tp and a URI A4 ballast that is running two 36in actinics-so maybe I should run the 2-36in on the advance and use the a4 to handle the 4 bulbs??? TIA
