my skimmer broke today (LIfeReef) and i have repaired it for now. this is the second time that the outlet valve has broken off the main chamber.

i realize that this skimmer (below) is rated for 100 gallons but, from what i have researched Euro-Reef is very conservative on their ratings. what is y'alls opinion on if it will work with my 125 and 55 sump?

I am currently running a CS100 on my 120. I have not had the tank long enough to comment if this is suffecent. But I aggree lifereef under rates there skimmers. If I find I need more skimming power I was going to drop a limewood airstone in the chamber and give it that extra kick.

I would reccommend using an ASM skimmer and save some cash over the Euro-reef. Same design, same pump, better collection cup attach fitting, much less costly. Just a thought to consider.
